The C14 urea breath test kit is a tool for H. pylori testing in the stomach, commonly used to test whether patients have been eradicated after H. pylori treatment, which has a positive significance in the prevention of gastritis, gastric cancer and other diseases.
The C14 urea breath test kit contains C14 Urea capsules and a breath collection card. When the subject takes the capsule, the urease enzyme secreted by H. pylori breaks down the urea to produce 14C-labeled carbon dioxide, which circulates in the bloodstream and is exhaled from the lungs. The patient blows into a collection card in the cartridge, which is inserted into a detector to diagnose H. pylori infection. The C14 H. pylori urea test kit procedure is non-invasive, painless, convenient and rapid, with high diagnostic accuracy (>95%), high safety and no side effects, and is also suitable for quantitative testing.
